GPFF Kansas City Spring 2026

2026 Spring League – Girls Play Flag Football

Are you ready for some football?
Join the largest all-girls NFL FLAG program in the country — where confidence, teamwork, and fun come first!
This outdoor season includes uniform pick-up, a Meet & Greet/Practice Day, league games, and a Division Tournament.

Who Can Play

Girls ages 5–17 are welcome! Teams are grouped by age and school to encourage balanced play and friendships both on and off the field.

Practice & Games

Practice: Each team practices one hour before game time at the same location as their field site.
Some teams may choose to hold additional practices at local schools or parks, but those fields are not reserved by the league.
Game Schedule: The season runs for 7 total weeks, including 6 games and 6 practices, plus a Division Tournament to close out the season.
Teams may have one bye week. Game times vary by location and typically fall between 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM on weekends.

Format & Team Play

Our league is primarily structured for 5v5 play, but depending on registration numbers, divisions may adjust to 4v4 or 3v3 to ensure fair team sizes, more playing time, and a fun experience for everyone.
For our 14U and High School divisions, the standard format is 7v7. If necessary, these divisions may also shift to 5v5, 4v4, or 3v3 to maintain balanced, competitive play.
Teams are formed based on age, school, and experience level to give every athlete the best opportunity for success.

Division Tournament & Playoffs

All divisions compete in a Division Tournament at the end of the regular season.
The top four teams in each division advance to play for the League Championship.
All other teams play a full consolation game to finish out the season.
Only 1st-place teams in each division receive Championship Rings.
Division winners move on to our Playoffs/Super Bowl event held in Denver, where they’ll compete against the best from other GPFF locations!

What’s Included

Each player receives an official NFL FLAG reversible jersey and flag belt, theirs to keep!
Players are required to wear:
A mouthguard (available for $5 each week at the field)
Shorts or pants with no pockets for safety
Additional gear — shorts, sleeves, mouthpieces, and extra flags — can be purchased during registration or on-site at Meet & Greet.

Schedules & Communication

Schedules are typically released a few days after Meet & Greet and may vary slightly by location.
We use the MOJO App to share rosters, schedules, and league updates. The app also includes team chat, practice drills, and coaching tools to keep families connected throughout the season.

Volunteer Coaches Needed

Our program depends on parent volunteers to make each season a success!
If you’re interested in coaching, please sign up during registration.
We provide training resources, support materials, and a coaches’ meeting before the season begins — no previous experience required.
