Camp Itinerary - Sept 5th

We are VERY excited to announce our first ever ALL-GIRLS Camp! The collaboration (ZBsports, Chiefs Flag, KC Glory, and St. Mary's University) on this event has been truly special, and we need  your help to tell the story! We will have a professional camera crew on site -
Capturing footage and action shots that we will have available for purchase. We will provide everyone a link to purchase professional prints at a later date, as well as update purchase information on our website. All proceeds will go toward the continued expansion of GPFF in the Kansas and Missouri area!

CAMPERS WILL RECIEVE A FREE CAMP T-SHIRT! AdditionallyPlease bring cleats (or good performance shoes), water, and sunscreen. BVNWHS is a turf field and will be hot. Water will also be provided by Chiefs Flag just in case. There are restrooms at the top of the stands, near the entrance. Parents are encouraged to spectate either from the stands, or on the sidelines, ensuring there is enough space available for activities

We have reached our goal of 200 campers in 3 weeks time! Due to the growing volunteer list from ZBsports, Ottawa College Flag Players, as well as St. Mary's Flag players - We have EXTENDED our registration! please spread the word, we still have availability!

12:30--1:00 PM: Check-In - CLAIM FREE T-SHIRT!
Campers check in at tent, then proceed to assemble for introductions
KC Wolf, Chiefs Rumble Drumline to greet Campers
1:00--1:20PM  Camp Introductions
CMO Lara Krug- Huddle Up Character Chat/Women’s Leadership Competent; Introduce Kansas City Glory and St. Mary University
               Volunteers will assist Campers are positioned correctly

1:30--1:45PM:  Group Dynamic Warm-Up

1:45--1:55PM:   Water Break / Divide into groups for stations
               Participants will be divided by age group to stations  (depending on grade)

2:00--3:15PM:   Skills & Drills Stations
               5 Stations: 12 minutes each (2 offense, 2 defense, 1 agility), 2 minutes to transition between station
               2 coaches/station leads set-up at each station to help focus on individual coaching/feedback.

  5. Tackling Drills
    1. Progression of Tackling
    2. Upper Cut Drill
    3. Tackling Bag Drill

3:15--3:25PM: Water Break/Break into teams/small groups (FOR SCRIMMAGE) 
Take the groups previously created for stations to make 10 teams of 10-15 girls
               Each team will have 2-3 coaches that helped in the stations above

 3:25--3:50PM: 5v5 scrimmages (Ages 8-14)
      Each team has 4 downs to complete a first down or score, two attempts each

 3:25--3:50PM: Freeze Tag – Flag Pulling (GRADES PK/K/1) 
       Sharks/Taggers: Pulling Flags
       Minnows: Avoid Being Tagged
       (1-2) Lifeguards: Have footballs, unable to be tagged, if they hand off a football to a 
       tagged frozen minnow, the minnow can then pick up their flags and continue the

3:50--4:00PM: Final pictures, autographs, & departure
